I studied classical piano at Venice Conservatory of Music (Italy), where I graduated with honors in 2009.

Soon after, I started my musicological activity at the Manuel de Falla Archive in Granada (Spain) by restoring a score by Spanish composer Manuel de Falla.

At the same time, I engaged in the study of jazz improvisation, classical composition and the practice of other instruments, namely North-African percussions.

This last experience pushed me to pursue a Master’s degree in ethnomusicology at Bologna University (Italy) and begin an ethnographic research in Morocco.

Today, I am both a performer in the jazz and experimental music scenes and a versatile composer and sound designer for films and video games.

Since 2020, I am a Ph.D. candidate in jazz studies and composition at the University of Montréal (Canada), where I teach theory and practice of Game Audio.
